First released in a fundraiser under the name Jason Desalsa, a joint effort with Minnesota news and radio personality Jason Derusha. We raised $4,748.31 for Mn Central Kitchen. This salsa was so popular with so many rave reviews that we had to make this a permanent addition to the Double Take Salsa lineup.

I simply cannot get enough of the Cherry Tale salsa. The flavor combination is incredible and the ingredient list is simple and clean. I’ll let you in on my secret - serve it over grilled lamb chops or pork loin!
It’s good, but I think it sounded better to me than it actually tastes. For what it is and what it’s trying to be, it’s very well done. I just don’t think I enjoy that combination of flavors in a salsa as much as I thought I would. I’d also probably like it a little more if it were chunkier. The consistency was slightly more runny than I expected.

I started out as a Machismo fan, and I still am, but this has become my favorite salsa. It grew on me--at first I didn't think it was cherry-forward enough, but now I think it's perfect--great on sunny side up eggs.

Like the peach salsa, I feel as if this salsa would be better if the cherry were more forward in the flavor--I think the cherry (one of the best flavors in the world) is a little overwhelmed by the chipotle.

This is my new favorite flavor. They hit it out of the park on this with the intense cherry flavor followed by the perfect heat. I can easily eat the entire jar in one sitting with some quality tortilla chips.

This salsa has a bold cherry taste that goes well with tortilla chips. It has a sweet heat, but not overly hot. Everyone in my family loves it, so it goes quickly. I have ordered this salsa over and over again. Try it!
This is my favorite salsa. It is sweet, and you can taste cherries. It is a little spicy, also. Pairs well with sour cream, on tortilla chips or baked potato. I am very glad it is available here, on the DoubleTake website, as it is no longer carried by my grocery store.

Whoa! I never realized a salsa could taste like this! The wife put out two jars in one evening. Borderline addicting, this salsa is a standalone and a must have!
I was unsure at first, but this stuff converted me into a double take follower. Hear me out: VANILLA ICE CREAM. Take a lil bit of salsa, mix it real well with some vanilla ice cream, and it's like a spicy cherry vanilla miracle.
